In 1D Sapa Private Car ,located in Muong Hoa valley with an area of about 8 km2, Sapa ancient rock field spreads out on the territory of Ta Van commune, Hau Thao commune and Su Pan Commune. Situated right on the winding path along with steep mountain, the ancient rock field consists of 159 multi-shaped boulders scattered in the trees, adjacent the road or among rice paddies… Hearing the stories and legends, and witnessing these rocks, tourists will be certainly surprised at artificial wonders which existed for centuries without any satisfactory answer yet. Being formed like a dragon’s head dimly looming within the skinny veil of the early morning, Ham Rong (Dragon Jaw) Mountain that’s fantastic mixture of synthetic and pure panorama is a horny visitor space in the middle of Sapa city.
Cat Cat Village is nestled at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley, about two miles (three kilometers) from Sapa town. This village was formed in the 19th century, after various ethnic H’Mong and Dzao families came together from other mountainous areas in northern Vietnam. They started cultivating rice and corn in the region, as well as weaving fabric and creating handicrafts to get by.
